Free festive parking on offer to support local traders

Shoppers will be able to take advantage of free parking during the festive period thanks to Malvern Hills District Council.

From 1 to 24 December, visitors will be able to park for free from 3pm until 11pm in any of the council's pay and display car parks.

The offer has been introduced as part of the Christmas Comes to Town campaign and Town Centre Plans.

Cllr Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "We are really delighted to offer free parking again in the run up to Christmas Day, it is a great way to support our traders across the three towns in the district. We encourage everyone to support local businesses during this time and enjoy the festive spirit our towns have to offer."
