Great Malvern Farmers' Market cancelled

Great Malvern Farmers' Market has been cancelled until further notice.

The popular market, which is held on the third Saturday of the month, has been cancelled following the Government's announcement of a national lockdown on 4 January 2021.

The next market was set to be held on 16 January in the winter location of the Lyttelton Rooms on Church Street.

Organisers Boffy Markets Ltd, working alongside Malvern Hills District Council, will reassess the situation in February.

Cllr Sarah Rouse, Leader of Malvern Hills District Council, said: "It is more important than ever to stay at home and follow Government guidelines to stop the spread of coronavirus. It is a shame the farmers' market has been cancelled but residents can still support local businesses by taking advantage of the delivery services on offer, a list can be found here: www.malvernhills.gov.uk/community/town-centres. We can get through this if we pull together, by sadly, staying apart for just a little while longer."
