Volunteers needed to lead popular walking group
Walking 4 Health is a free group which meets on the last Monday of every month with the aim of helping people across the district lead a more active lifestyle.
Held at the Cob House Country Park in Wichenford, the walks are short, over easy terrain and are open to everyone.
They usually last 30 to 60 minutes and are tailored to the group each month.
Up to two walk leaders are being sought to help take over the group in order for it to continue. Full training will be given.
Cllr Natalie McVey, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Health at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "We are looking for volunteers who can spare a short amount of their time each month to lead our friendly Walking 4 Health group. The walks have been very popular and are a chance to not only build up fitness but to socialise and meet new people too."
