Great Malvern Farmers’ Market takes place this weekend

An abundance of top quality local produce will be on offer this weekend when the Great Malvern Farmers' Market returns.

The market takes place on Saturday 18 September in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory between 9am and 2pm.

Organised by Boffy Arts and Events with support from Malvern Hills District Council, the market is a popular destination for people looking to buy essential items, occasional treats and something to experiment with in the kitchen. Stall holders offer a wide choice of locally produced products including bread and sweet pastries, cheese, vegan sausages, meat, jams and chutneys, chocolate, fish and more.

Entertainment will also be on offer at the market this weekend with Ukulele players from 11am until 11.45am and 12.15pm to 1pm. All donations collected will be given to The Alzheimer's Society.

Cllr Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "The Farmers' Market is a great opportunity to support our local businesses and to try a range of locally produced fresh food and specialities. We hope both residents and visitors enjoy all the wonderful treats the market has to offer."
