A variety of top quality local produce will be on offer this weekend with the return of the Great Malvern Farmers' Market.

The market takes place on Saturday 18 December in the grounds of Great Malvern Priory between 9am and 2pm, it will also be the last one taking place before Christmas.

Organised by Boffy Arts and Events with support from Malvern Hills District Council, shoppers will have the chance to choose from a range of local businesses offering fresh food and drink.

A wide choice of locally produced products will be on offer including bread and sweet pastries, cheese, vegan sausages, meat, jams and chutneys, chocolate and more.

Amongst the 30 stallholders there will be Peter Cooks Bread, Three Bears Bakery, The Pudding Shop, Chill Your Beans, Cosy Chocolate, Ludlow Pickle, Hill Top Farm and Masa Mexican.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a selection of festive tunes from the market's resident busker.

Cllr Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "The Farmers' Market is always a popular event with a great selection of fresh food and specialities. It is also a great opportunity to purchase some last-minute Christmas treats and support our local businesses."
