The Great Malvern Farmers' Market returns this weekend to its winter venue

The popular Great Malvern Farmers' Market returns this weekend with a temporary new home during the winter months.

The much-loved market, which is usually held in Priory Grounds, takes place on Saturday 15 January from 9am to 2pm at the Lyttelton Rooms on 6 Church Street, to accommodate the changing weather conditions.

The first market of the year will be offering local fresh produce including fruit, vegetables, salads, breads, cheeses, meats and a range of tasty surprises.

Amongst the traders will be Peter Cooks (bread), Styans (fruit and veg), Lightwood (cheese), Rourkes (pies), Yum Sweet Treats (cakes and fudge), Chill Your Beans (vegan savouries), The Ferme (fermented / pickled veggies) and many more.

Cllr Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Tourism and Economic Development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "It is great to see the market returning this weekend for residents and visitors to enjoy and support local. The temporary change of venue will also allow traders to continue to share their produce, whatever the weather."
