Become an honorary elf as part of a Christmas Elf Adventure Trail across The Malverns

Youngsters will soon be able to be certified as honorary elves in a free digital adventure trail featuring Tiny the Elf all the way from the North Pole.

The Elf Adventure Trail runs until Saturday 31 December within the high streets of Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Barnards Green, Tenbury Wells and Upton upon Severn.

The trail is linked to the recent Christmas Comes to Town Campaign which forms part of Malvern Hills District Council's Town Centre Plans.

Children will need to find the posters in shop windows to take part, with eight treasure points in each town to find altogether.

The interactive adventure involves games, music, videos, and solving clues and riddles to find a word puzzle in order to be certified as an honorary elf and receive a certificate of achievement at the end.

During the trail Tiny the Elf will also teach skills on what it takes to be one of Santa's Elves, including a special elf handshake, elf and safety, and the elf march which all elves use as their Christmas anthem.

Anyone with a smartphone can take part, the trail is completely contactless using a QR code, or a map can be collected from participating businesses if a smart phone is not available.

Cllr Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "This is a fun and engaging Christmas challenge for all the family. It is also a great opportunity to explore our wonderful towns and local businesses. We hope families and children will get involved and enjoy the trail."
