Free Connecting Community and Business Breakfast event returns

Community organisations and businesses in the Malvern Hills District are being invited to a free networking breakfast to make new connections and find out more about what is going on in the community.

Malvern Hills District Council is holding the second Connecting Business and Communities Breakfast on 7 November from 8am to 10.30am at the Eden Church Centre in Malvern.

This free session is aimed at businesses, social enterprises, as well as voluntary and community organisations in the Malvern Hills District.

It is an opportunity to make new connections, raise the profile of businesses and community groups, and discuss new initiatives and ideas that can support each other.

There will be a chance to speed network, visit community stands, as well as sign up to a free funding advice session for community organisations.

The last Connecting Business and Communities Breakfast event was held in April this year where more than 40 businesses and community groups were in attendance.

Cllr Tom Wells, Portfolio Holder for Community Services at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "We are so pleased to be able to bring back our popular Connecting Business and Communities Breakfast event. It is a brilliant opportunity to meet new people and discuss new ideas that can support our communities".

Claire Vaughan from the Community Building Team at Malvern Hills District Council said: "We have some wonderful examples of what can be achieved when local businesses and community groups come together to support each other. This is a great opportunity to bring these key sectors of the community together, to start and develop further connections."

Places are limited and tickets must be booked in advance, please visit www.malvernhills.gov.uk/community/connected-communities to book.
