The candidates running for the West Worcestershire constituency in the upcoming UK Parliamentary Election have been revealed.
The election will be held on Thursday, 4 July 2024 and the polls will be open between 7am and 10pm.
The statement of persons nominated in the UK Parliamentary Election for West Worcestershire, along with the notice of poll and list of polling stations has now been published.
The candidates are:
- Harriett Baldwin (Conservative Party)
- Seonaid Barber (Party of Women)
- Dan Boatright-Greene (Liberal Democrat)
- Christopher Edmondson (Reform UK)
- Kash Haroon (Labour Party)
- Natalie McVey (Green Party)
There will be 91 polling stations within the West Worcestershire Constituency, this list can be found on the Malvern Hills District Council’s website.
The council is reminding people to allow plenty of time to register to vote, if they need to, or apply for postal or proxy votes.
People should also check they have the right photo ID, which will be needed to vote in a UK General Election.
Andy Baldwin, Returning Officer at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We are encouraging our residents to make sure they are ready for the General Election, so they don’t lose their vote. It takes five minutes to register and to check whether you have the right photo ID. There is still time to get sorted and the Elections Team can help if you need it”.
