NEWS: Planned works - Tenbury Wells car parks

We have planned works due to commence on the car parks in Tenbury Wells, starting 24 March until 2 April 2025.

The works at Teme Street and Swimming Pool car parks involves essential maintenance and accessibility upgrades, including manhole and pothole repairs, relaying damaged speed bumps, and enhancing pedestrian walkways.

Accessibility improvements feature redesigned parking bays with new yellow hatching, tactile paving, and designated EV charging with accessible access.

Additional updates include new "Blue Badge Holders Only" signage, modifications to bridge kerbs and surfaces, and a pedestrian walkway near public facilities, all aimed at ensuring safe and convenient access for all users.

Teme Street Car Park - there will be a requirement for a full car park closure for the first two days of the project (24 and 25 March) and an additional day while the parking bay lines are painted. Date for line painting to be confirmed.

Tenbury’s Market Street Toilets are currently closed until 11 April. This is so we can do refurbishments to improve their appearance and durability, as well as upgrade and repair the ramp outside to ensure it is safe and accessible.

The public toilets on Teme Street will be available to use whilst these works are scheduled.
