NEWS: New noticeboards installed to help enhance visitor experience in Malvern

Two new noticeboards have been installed in Malvern Link to help enhance visitor experience in the town.

The information boards have been created by Malvern Hills District Council and funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The boards form part of the council’s Five Town Centre Plans, which cover Upton upon Severn, Great Malvern, Barnards Green, Malvern Link and Tenbury Wells, and seek to identify opportunities for further improvement and investment.

The boards have been installed at the St Richard’s Hospice shop and Evans Pharmacy on the main road in Malvern Link.

The information promotes the heritage of the area, what there is to see and do, a list of shops and places to eat, with an illustrative map.

Cllr Beverley Nielsen, Portfolio Holder for Economy and Tourism, at Malvern Hills District Council said: “These display boards are a great way for everyone looking to explore and learn more about the area to find out more, benefiting both residents and visitors.”

People can visit www.malvernhills.gov.uk/business/town-centres for more information on the council’s plans.
