Apprenticeship Employer Grant and Apprenticeship Bursaries
Apprenticeships are vital to businesses because they provide a practical route to develop skilled, motivated employees while helping employers address skills gaps, improve productivity and build a sustainable workforce for the future. Malvern Hills District Council is funding various measures to encourage the creation of more apprenticeship positions, as detailed below.
Malvern Hills Apprenticeship Employer Grants
Malvern Hills businesses can access grants of £1,500 to support the creation of apprenticeship opportunities. These grants are funded by Malvern Hills District Council and administered by Worcestershire Apprenticeships.

The government is offering up to £5,000 in stacked incentives for employers who hire young apprentices in 2026. Four separate payments are available depending on your size, the apprentice’s age, and their circumstances.
