NEWS: Have your say on Powick Neighbourhood Plan
Residents in Powick can have their say on proposed plans for future development in their parish.
The draftPowick Neighbourhood Plan setsout a visionup until the year 2041andincludespolicies to guide development in the area.
The plan focusesonobjectivesaroundenvironment, community facilities, housing, economic development, and more.
Powick Parish Council has produced the document after working with the local community and have nowsubmittedit to Malvern Hills District Council for final public consultation.
This will start on Monday, 8 June 2026 and will run for six weeks, ending on 20 July 2026.
Once the consultation is complete Malvern Hills District Councilwill appoint an independent examiner to examine the neighbourhood plan over the summer.
Neighbourhood Plans are a key part of the Government's localism agenda to give local people more of a say on issues such as where new homes, shops and offices should be built, and the design of new developments.
