Recycling Points

You may have noticed that the old domed glass bottle banks have been removed. These have now been replaced with yellow wheeled bins provided by Lyco Recycling. The glass is collected comingled and there is no need to separate the glass by colour as this is managed at the processing plant. There is no benefit to collecting glass separately thanks to advances in the processing technology. 

Please note, if you have a green recycling bin, you can dispose of all glass in your bin and there is no need to take the glass to the bottle bins in any of these areas. If you are a commercial entity, you should not be using these bins as they are solely for domestic use.

Please note, these sites are managed by third party suppliers and we are not responsible for emptying them. However, we will liaise with third party suppliers to arrange for the bins to be emptied.
