How can we help you?

Get active with Street Tag

We have partnered with Street Tag to launch an adventure-style app in schools across the Malvern Hills District.

What is Street Tag?

Street Tag is a free, family-friendly smartphone app game that records your physical activity and encourages you to explore your local area by visiting virtual tags and collecting points across the Malvern Hills District.

Up to 250 people can represent a school team and parents/carers, grandparents, teachers and other school staff can all sign up and collect tags and points to help their school climb the leader board.

We are supporting Street Tag as part of our commitment to encouraging Active Travel.

The app is designed to encourage families to walk, cycle and roll to school, to be physically active and to connect with greenspaces. It is an opportunity to rediscover your local area as well as earn rewards for your team.

Street Tag will be launched in schools from 26 September to 18 November 2024.

What are the prizes?

We have teamed up with local businesses to provide prizes to the schools and individuals that reach the top of the leader board by the end of the eight-week programme. Prizes will also be awarded at fortnightly intervals.

Prizes include up to £200 in cash, swim passes, monthly memberships and more from Freedom Leisure, as well as cinema tickets and a family pantomime ticket from Malvern Theatres.
