A decision in respect of the gifts and hospitality rests with a councillor, although guidance can be obtained from officers. The Local Code of Conduct (based on the national model) requires councillors' to register any gifts or hospitality they receive and which have a value of more than £25.00.
The Council has decided that any gifts or hospitality worth more than £5 should be recorded. For full details please see the members' gifts and hospitality.
