Key responsibilities
Responsible for the council’s strategic housing service which includes: Affordable Housing Provision, Private Sector Housing, Homelessness and Housing Services. Jennifer is also responsible for Community Safety, Community Development and Partnership working, Health Improvement, Arts, Sport and Culture.

Career
Jennifer began her local government career at Worcestershire County Council in 2004, where she held economic development, partnership, policy and performance roles. She was Cotswold District Council’s Community Partnerships Manager between 2011 and 2015 and has most recently worked in Gloucestershire’s Public Health team, leading the commissioning of services for people in vulnerable circumstances. Before joining Malvern Hills and Wychavon in December 2021, Jennifer was seconded to lead transformation activity that supported Gloucestershire’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
