Local Land Charges Search Fees

Local Land Charges Register (LLC1)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Malvern Hills Local Land Charges Register (LLC1) is now held by HM Land Registry, so we no longer provide an LLC1 search service, we do however still provide replies to CON29 & CON29O enquiries. LLC1 searches are now available via the HM Land Registry Portal.

Local Land Charges Search Fees

The Council's pdf Schedule of Charges (23 KB)  sets out our charges for providing you with information under the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and Data Protection Act.

Our charges reflect current statutory requirements and guidance.

Charges from 1 April 2025 to March 2026

CON29 Search Fee: £168.00

Con29O Optional Enquiries:

Question 4: £27.00
Question 5 to Question 20: £5.00 each
Question 21*: n/a
Question 22: £41.40

Extra Parcel of Land: £33.00
Extra Written Enquiries: £33.00

End of Financial Year 2026

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that we will not be able to process any searches received after midday on Friday 27 March 2026, due to end of financial year system closures. Any searches submitted after that time/date will be subject to our new fees (as shown below) and will not be processed until 1 April 2027 onwards.

Additional enquiries regarding highways matters

Malvern Hills are under written instruction from Worcestershire County Council not to accept additional enquiries regarding highway matters, such as limits. For these types of enquiries you will need to contact Worcestershire County Council. They will also be able to inform you of their fees.
